Collect 10 Pokemon to finish this challenge.
Trainers, it’s here! The Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto event has finally begun in certain regions around the world! On February 20 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time, this partially ticketed event will allow players to encounter Pokemon from the Kanto region in the wild, complete lots of Research tasks, and much more. (For more information about this event, check out our previous coverage).
Players who purchase a ticket for the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto event will be able to complete 10 Collection Challenges as part of the event’s festivities. Half of these Challenges are inspired by locations from the first Pokemon video games (like the Fuchsia City and the Pokemon League challenges), while the other half are inspired by the ways players can collect the Pokemon required to complete them (like the Evolve and Research challenges, for instance).
Players will have until February 28 at 7:59 p.m. local time to complete these challenges.
Here’s everything you need to know about completing the Cerulean City Collection Challenge in Pokemon Go!
According to Serebii.net, the Cerulean City Collection Challenge asks players to collect the following Pokemon:
On the Pokemon Go support website, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, said that all of these Pokemon will appear in the wild and will be attracted to Incense during the two “Cerulean City” hours of the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto event.
These Cerulean City hours last from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. local time and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time.
In addition, during the last two hours of the event, Pokemon from all of the event’s hourly blocks will appear in the wild, so players will have another chance to catch any of these Pokemon that they may still need.
According to Serebii.net, when players complete the Cerulean City Collection Challenge, they’ll receive 151 Stardust, 20 Great Balls, and an encounter with Goldeen.
Remember, even if you don’t finish this Collection Challenge during the Pokemon Go Tour: Kanto event itself, you will still have the chance to complete it during the 2021 Kanto Celebration Event, which will run from February 21 at 10 a.m. local time until February 27 at 8 p.m. local time. You can learn more about this Kanto Celebration event right here.
