Here's what's changed.
Funko Games, the company behind kid-friendly tabletop games like Something Wild and The Haunted Mansion: Call of the Spirits, has revealed new Collector’s Editions of two of its recently released games: Mickey and the Beanstalk and It’s a Small World.
Mickey and the Beanstalk is a cooperative game for 2-6 players aged 3+. It challenges players to work together to collect food from the Giant’s table without getting caught. While the original version of the game included plain miniature figures of Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, and Goofy, the Mickey and the Beanstalk: Collector’s Edition game will feature fully painted characters that have more detail.
The Mickey and the Beanstalk: Collector’s Edition tabletop game will be priced at $29.99. It’s available to pre-order now on Amazon, with an expected release date of August 11, 2021.
Next, It’s a Small World is a seek-and-find game for 2-6 players aged 4+, which is inspired by the classic Disney theme park attraction of the same name. The game challenges players to collect points by matching pictures of children and animals that are printed on cards with the ride images that are featured on the game’s “scene boards.” (You can learn more about the game in our review.)
Rather than being packaged in a regular box, the It’s a Small World: Collector’s Edition game features a storage tin with an embossed cover.
The It’s a Small World: Collector’s Edition tabletop game is also priced at $29.99. You can pre-order it now on Amazon. The game has an expected release date of August 11, 2021.
