Here’s everything you need to know about Ubisoft+.
What is Ubisoft+? How does it work?
Ubisoft+ is a video game subscription service with two subscription plans to choose from: Ubisoft+ Premium and Ubisoft+ Classics.
Here are the benefits included with each plan.
Ubisoft+ Premium
- Ubisoft+ Premium subscribers can play more than 100 of Ubisoft’s games on PC for as long as they have a subscription.
- Subscribers can play Ubisoft’s newest games on the days they release at no additional cost, when this option is available.
- If an upcoming Ubisoft game offers an “Early Access” period, Ubisoft+ Premium subscribers may be able to play the game during the Early Access period without making an additional purchase.
- In some cases, if a game offers additional optional content, such as a Season Pass or downloadable content (DLC), Ubisoft+ Premium subscribers will receive access to this extra content at no additional cost.
- Subscribers receive monthly in-game rewards each month they subscribe to the service. They’ll be able to choose in-game content from a variety of Ubisoft titles, including Watch Dogs: Legion, Far Cry 6, and others.
- The longer someone subscribes to Ubisoft+ Premium, the more rewards they may be eligible to receive. You can view the rewards timeline on Ubisoft’s website.
- Subscribers will receive discounts and deals from Ubisoft, as well as a 10 percent discount on virtual currency packs in supported games.
- Subscribers can stream select games over the cloud via Amazon Luna.
- Subscribers can play select Ubisoft games on Xbox consoles at no additional cost using their subscription.
Ubisoft+ Classics
- Ubisoft+ Classics subscribers can play more than 50 of Ubisoft’s games on PC for as long as they have a subscription.
- Subscribers will receive access to the “standard editions” of games, meaning they won’t receive access to any additional optional content, such as Season Passes or DLC.
How much does Ubisoft+ cost?
The Ubisoft+ Premium plan costs $17.99 per month.
The Ubisoft+ Classics plan costs $7.99 per month.
Is there anything else parents need to know about Ubisoft+?
The Ubisoft+ catalog contains many games that have been rated M for Mature by the ESRB, meaning they’ve been deemed inappropriate for anyone under the age of 17. You can browse the Ubisoft+ game catalog before subscribing to the service to see which games are family-friendly and which games are for adults.
In addition, parents should keep in mind that streaming games through a high-speed internet connection via Amazon Luna may use a significant amount of data, depending on how often and how long someone plays.
