An extra spooky event is coming soon!
Trainers, the final Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour event for October is taking place on October 27 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time.
During this time, Duskull will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you’ll receive two times the normal amount of experience points when you evolve Pokemon. This experience point bonus will apply to all Pokemon you evolve during this event, and not just Duskull.
Duskull is a Ghost-type Pokemon from the third Generation of the Pokemon universe. It has two evolutions. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Duskull into Dusclops using 25 Duskull Candy, and then evolve Dusclops into Dusknoir using 100 Duskull Candy and a Sinnoh Stone.
To make the most of this event, remember that you can activate an Incense on your account to attract wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time.
Also keep in mind that the 2020 Halloween event is still happening in Pokemon Go, which means you’ll earn double the normal amount of Pokemon Candy for each Pokemon you capture (now and during the Spotlight Hour event). If you want to really stock up on Duskull Candy, make sure to toss Pinap Berries at these pocket monsters before you catch them!
Finally, the Shiny version of Duskull already exists in Pokemon Go, so if you’ve yet to add one of these rare Pokemon to your collection, this Spotlight Hour event will give you plenty of chances to look for one.
Even though this is the last Spotlight Hour event in October, there are still more of these events to look forward to in the future. The next Spotlight Hour event will be held on November 3, and it will feature Cubone.
