The winter holiday season will be here before we know it, and Funko Games is preparing to celebrate the most festive time of the year with a new lineup of holiday-themed tabletop games.
Funko Games will release six holiday-themed tabletop games in fall 2022. Here’s a quick look at each one.
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation Game
Players: 2-5
Age Rating: 8+
Inspired by the 1989 film National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, this tabletop game will challenge players to avoid holiday chaos by rolling dice using a Marty Moose cup. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation Game will be released exclusively at Target in November 2022 for $19.99. It’s now available to pre-order on Target’s website.
Disney Mickey’s Christmas Carol Game
Players: 2-4
Age Rating: 4+
This cooperative tabletop game is inspired by the Mickey’s Christmas Carol cartoon from 1983. The game will challenge players to use puzzle pieces to put together scenes from the animated story before Scrooge wakes up. Disney Mickey’s Christmas Carol Game will be released exclusively at Target in October 2022 for $19.99. The game is now available to pre-order on Target’s website.
Elf: Journey From the North Pole Collector’s Edition
Players: 2-4
Age Rating: 8+
Elf: Journey From the North Pole was originally released in 2020. Inspired by the 2003 film Elf, the game challenges players to help Buddy the Elf find his father by creating a path for him to follow from the North Pole to New York City. This Collector’s Edition of the game will be packaged in an embossed tin. Elf: Journey From the North Pole Collector’s Edition will be released exclusively at Target in October 2022 for $19.99. Planes, Trains and Automobiles: The Game

Age Rating: 12+
This cooperative game is inspired by the 1987 film Planes, Trains and Automobiles. The game will allow players to work together to overcome challenges such as icy roads and grounded planes in order to make it to Chicago in time for the holidays. Planes, Trains and Automobiles: The Game will be released in October 2022. The game will be priced at $8.99.
Disney Stitch Merry Mischief Card Game
Players: 2-6
Age Rating: 5+
In the Disney Stitch Merry Mischief Card Game, Stitch is so excited for the holidays that he keeps unwrapping presents before it’s time to do so. This competitive card game will challenge players to save presents from Stitch so he can’t unwrap them. Disney Stitch Merry Mischief Card Game will be released in October 2022 for $8.99.
Something Wild Marvel Holiday Baby Groot
Players: 2-4
Age Rating: 6+
This newest version of the Something Wild card game includes a small Funko Pop figure of Baby Groot wearing a Santa hat. The game’s cards feature other characters from the Marvel universe, such as Hulk and Black Panther. While this game can be played on its own as a standalone experience, players can also combine the game with other Something Wild games they already own to create a larger game.
