The game also has a new mode on all platforms.
Embr has launched on Xbox Game Pass, giving subscribers to the service unlimited access to the chaotic firefighting game.
Embr allows up to four players to become rookie firefighters and work together to fight fires and save citizens (and their belongings) from emergencies. Rather than being realistic and “violent,” the game is wacky and light-hearted (for instance, you may need to save a person who is fully clothed but sitting on a toilet). You can learn more about Embr and watch some gameplay in our First Look.
In addition to launching on Xbox Game Pass, Embr now has a new multiplayer game mode for players to try on all platforms called Secret Hosr.
During each Secret Hosr mission, one player will become the “Hosr Agent” who has the goal of secretly sabotaging the team’s efforts. That is, they’ll need to sabotage the group without letting anyone else know they’re the Hosr Agent.
Once a player thinks they know who the Hosr Agent is, they can use the game’s report tool to vote them out. However, they’ll only be able to use the report tool once.
The Secret Hosr mode is available on all platforms for free, but you’ll need to own the full game of Embr to access it.
Embr is available for $19.99 on Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, and PC. The game is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB.
