Pokemon Go Mega Battle Challenge Timed Research Tasks Guide

Mega Evolution was recently added to Pokemon Go, and to celebrate, the game is holding a huge Mega September event that’s split into three weekly sections. We’re currently in Week Two of the Mega September event, which — in part — gives players a new series of Timed Research tasks to complete.

There are four parts to the Mega Battle Challenge Timed Research, and each part has three tasks to complete. Here’s what these tasks ask you to do, and the rewards you’ll receive for completing them!

Mega Battle Challenge Part 1

• Battle in a Raid – 3 Revives
• Catch 7 Bug-Type Pokemon – 5 Poke Balls
• Power Up Pokemon 7 Times – 1 Upgrade

Final Rewards: 35 Beedrill Mega Energy, 500 Stardust, and 1,000 experience points

Mega Battle Challenge Part 2

• Battle in a Raid – 3 Revives
• Battle in a Mega Raid – 3 Golden Razz Berries
• Battle Another Trainer – 1 Sinnoh Stone

Final Rewards: 40 Beedrill Mega Energy, 1,000 Stardust, and 2,000 experience points

Mega Battle Challenge Part 3

• Battle in 3 Raids – Pinsir Encounter
• Battle 3 Team Go Rocket Grunts – 5 Revives
• Mega Evolve a Pokemon – 1 Silver Pinap Berry

Final Rewards: 60 Beedrill Mega Energy, 1,000 Stardust, and 2,000 experience points

Mega Battle Challenge Part 4

• Automatically Completed Task – 10 Poke Balls
• Automatically Completed Task – 3 Max Revives
• Automatically Completed Task – 3 Hyper Potions

Final Rewards: 2,500 Stardust, 5,000 experience points, and an encounter with Roserade
