Defeat the Decepticons in turn-based, tactical battles.
Earlier this year, we received our first look at Transformers: Battlegrounds, a strategy game that will challenge players to help the Autobots defeat Megatron and the Decepticons in a brand new story.
Now, a new trailer has been released for the game, which gives fans a look at some gameplay footage.
Similar to a game like XCOM 2, Transformers: Battlegrounds will allow players to take out enemies in turn-based, tactical battles. That is, they’ll be able to tell their individual units where to move around the battleground and which actions to perform on each turn.
In addition to a story mode, Transformers: Battlegrounds will include an arcade mode for one or two players.
Transformers: Battlegrounds will be released on Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 23. Fans will have the option to purchase a Digital Deluxe Edition of the game, which includes four Autobot skin packs and an exclusive “CUBE!” game mode. Transformers: Battlegrounds will be available to pre-order on October 2.
Fans can pre-order the game to receive two exclusive skins: Nemesis Prime and Goldfire Bumblebee.

Transformers: Battlegrounds is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB.
