The premium add-on includes new animals, scenery items, and more.
You’ll soon be able to meet a variety of new animals in Planet Zoo, as the next downloadable content (DLC) pack for the zoo building game has been revealed.
The Aquatic Pack will add five new water-loving animals to the management game: the King Penguin, Giant Otter (pictured above), Grey Seal, Dwarf Caiman, and Diamondback Terrapin. The Diamondback Terrapin is the only “exhibit-based” critter of the bunch (they take up far less space), while the other four need to live in larger “habitats.”
To ensure your guests can properly view animals while they’re underwater, you’ll be able to build underground observation points. You’ll also be able to add over 170 new scenery items to your zoos. This selection includes items like murals, animal sculptures, and waterfalls, with some of the items going along with the aquatic theme.
Finally, the Aquatic Pack DLC will include a new timed scenario set at a water-themed zoo in Oregon.
The Aquatic Pack will be released on December 8 for $9.99. You’ll need to own the base game of Planet Zoo to access this content.
