Help a group of teens save the world!

Outright Games, the company behind kid-friendly titles like Ben 10: Power Trip and Gigantosaurus: The Game, revealed new details about The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom, a new video game inspired by the Netflix series The Last Kids on Earth (which is itself inspired by a series of books).

The Last Kids on Earth animated series follows a group of teens as they try to survive during a zombie and monster invasion. While this sounds like a mature premise, the show is kid-friendly, with a rating of TV-Y7.

The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom will feature an original story that challenges players to help Jack, Quint, June, and Dirk collect the pieces of the “Staff of Doom” so they can defeat Malondre, Queen of the Slime Monsters. Along the way, players will be able to explore the town of Wakefield and battle against lots of zombies.

When the game is released, it will allow up to four players in the same room to team up and take out enemies. Shortly after the game’s launch, it will be updated to support online multiplayer.

The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom will be released on Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 4. The game is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB.
