Players can help Krypto and Ace save stray animals from Lex Luthor.
Outright Games, the company behind games like Ben 10: Power Trip and PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night, released DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace on consoles, PC, and Stadia.
DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace is inspired by the upcoming film DC League of Super-Pets, which will be released in theaters in the U.S. on July 29, 2022. The game will challenge players to help Krypto and Ace save stray animals around Metropolis from Lex Luthor. (Krypto is Superman’s dog companion, while Ace is Batman’s dog companion.)
DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace is an “on-rails” game, meaning it will guide players forward through environments automatically, as though they were in a kart on a track. This will allow players to focus on attacking enemies and more.
As players make their way through the game, they’ll be able to unlock upgrades and abilities for Krypto and Ace. In addition, as players save stray animals, they’ll be able to help them find their forever homes by playing a “pet adoption” mini-game.
DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace is now available on Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia for $39.99. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrades for the game will be released on September 30, 2022.
Once these upgrades are released, if someone already owns the game on PlayStation 4, they’ll be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version at no additional cost. Similarly, if someone already owns the game on Xbox One, they’ll be able to upgrade to the Xbox Series X/S version at no additional cost.
DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace is rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ by the ESRB.
