Update (05/11/2020): Ninjala was originally scheduled to be released on May 27. However, the game’s launch has been delayed until June 24 due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Minecraft Dungeons is a dungeon-crawling adventure game set in the blocky world of Minecraft. It will allow players to explore dungeons full of loot on their own, or with up to three friends online or in the same room. Players can personalize their character to suit their play style (for instance, they can focus on melee or ranged attacks), and then use their character’s skills to defeat zombies, spiders, and other enemies from the Minecraft universe. In addition to a standard release on consoles and PC, Minecraft Dungeons will be available on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox’s game subscription service.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition

Appropriate for: Teens who enjoy role-playing games
Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition is an updated version of the original Xenoblade Chronicles, which was released on Wii in 2012 in North America. The role-playing game follows a boy named Shulk and his companions on their quest to defeat mechanical enemies known as Mechon. Xenoblade Chronicles features real-time combat, and this updated version of the game has an “improved battle HUD and menus.” The graphics have also been updated. Finally, this Definitive Edition includes a new epilogue story that wasn’t in the original version of the game.

Appropriate for: Older kids who enjoy multiplayer games
In this online multiplayer battle game, players become ninjas who use items called “Ninja-Gum” to give themselves special weapons that they can use to defeat enemies. Ninjala has multiple gameplay modes. In the Battle Royale mode, up to eight players will compete against one another to see who can earn the most points, while the Team Battle mode splits players into two teams of four who will duke it out with the goal of earning more points than the opposing team. Players can earn points by taking out other players, collecting items, and by destroying drones that are found around the in-game battlefield. Finally, in Ninjala, players have a customizable avatar that they can personalize with different fashion and accessory items to show off their personal style.
