Players can earn Flower Badges they previously missed!

Pikmin Bloom was released on mobile devices in October 2021. To celebrate the game’s first birthday, the “1st Anniversary Community Week” event has kicked off in the free-to-play mobile game.

Pikmin Bloom’s 1st Anniversary Community Week event will run from now until November 13, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. local time.

During this event, players will be able to complete Flower Planting tasks in order to earn any of the Community Day Flower Badges they didn’t earn during the Community Day events that took place during the game’s first year. To be especially clear, players will only receive Flower Planting tasks related to the Community Day Flower Badges they didn’t earn throughout the game’s first year. If players earned every Community Day Flower Badge during the game’s first year, they won’t have any Flower Planting tasks to complete.

Each of these Flower Planting tasks asks players to plant 3,000 flowers of a specific type. For instance, the December 2021 Community Day event focused on Poinsettias. If players didn’t earn the Poinsettia Flower Badge during this event, they’ll have a Flower Planting task that asks them to plant 3,000 Poinsettias.

During the 1st Anniversary Community Week event, Big Flowers will bloom into one of the monthly flowers that appeared in Pikmin Bloom during its first year. Each Big Flower will bloom for six hours. These Big Flowers will allow players to earn the petals they need to complete the event’s Flower Planting tasks.

Different Big Flowers will bloom during different time periods throughout this event. Here’s the schedule:

Cherry Blossom, Tulip, Rose, Hydrangea, Lily, and Sunflower Big Flowers will bloom between midnight and 11:59 a.m. local time on November 7, 9, 11, and 13, and between 12 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. local time on November 8, 10, and 12.

Spider Lily, Cosmos, Poinsettia, Camelia, and Plum Blossom Big Flowers will bloom between 12 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. local time on November 7, 9, 11, and 13, and between midnight and 11:59 a.m. local time on November 8, 10, and 12.

Finally, Pikmin Bloom’s November 2022 Community Day event will take place across two days. The event will run from November 12 at 12 a.m. local time until November 13 at 11:59 p.m. local time. If players walk at least 10,000 steps combined across both days, they’ll receive the “1st Anniversary” Badge for their profile. That is, players won’t be required to walk 10,000 steps in a single day. So long as they walk 10,000 steps in total during this two-day event, they’ll receive the 1st Anniversary Badge.

During the November 2022 Community Day event, seedlings in the player’s planter pack will grow at 1.5x the normal speed. This rate will be increased even more if players are planting flowers.
