A new limited time mode will be available each day in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Summer is here and the weather is heating up both outdoors and in Fortnite as the popular battle royale game is kicking off its 14 Days of Summer event.
This event features limited time modes, free rewards, and much more. Here’s what we can look forward to.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, players will be able to compete in a different limited time mode each day. For instance, the Splashdown Squads mode will challenge players to damage their opponents with a new Water Balloon item, while the Headshots Duos mode will only allow players to deal damage using headshots. For a complete breakdown of the 14 limited time modes, check out Fortnite’s website.
In addition, during this event, a weapon will be unvaulted for 24 hours each day in Battle Royale. New outfits and other items will be available in Item Shop each day, and Battle Royale players will also be able to complete a daily challenge and receive a free in-game reward.
Over in Fortnite Creative, there will be a new featured island each day for players to check out. As a reminder, Fortnite Creative gives each player their own island to play around on, with their progress being saved even when they leave the game.
Finally, in Fortnite: Save the World, the game’s premium mode, players will be able to complete a new quest each day during this event to “help Homebase host the hottest summer party around and score some summer freebies in the store.” If players complete all 14 of the event’s quests, they’ll “unlock a new explosive weapon.”
