Powerful Pokemon will appear more frequently for a limited time.
Trainers, Gigantamax versions of four Pokemon are appearing more frequently in Max Raid Battles in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield for a limited time. However, the Pokemon you’ll encounter will be determined by the game you’re playing.
From now until April 27 at 4:59 p.m. PT, Gigantamax Copperajah and Gigantamax Duraludon will appear more frequently in Pokemon Sword, while Gigantamax Garbodor and Gigantamax Charizard will appear more frequently in Pokemon Shield.
If you want a chance to challenge the other two Pokemon (that is, the Pokemon that are only appearing in the other game), remember that you can join Max Raid Battles being hosted by other players. If you find someone hosting a battle with a Pokemon that isn’t appearing in your own game, try to join them for a chance to add one of these powerful pocket monsters to your team.
