Pokemon Go Ultra Unlock 2021: Time Timed Research Tasks Guide

During Pokemon Go Fest 2021, players from around the world worked together to complete a series of in-game challenges in the game’s Global Challenge Arena. Since players were able to complete all 24 challenges that were offered during Go Fest 2021, three “Ultra Unlock” events will be added to the game as a reward.

The Ultra Unlock Part 1: Time event will run from July 23 at 10 a.m. local time until August 3 at 8 p.m. local time. To see everything that’s going on during this event, check out our previous coverage.

As part of this event, players can complete a series of Timed Research tasks to earn rewards like Poke Balls and Pokemon encounters, among others.

According to LeekDuck, here’s what the Ultra Unlock 2021: Time Timed Research tasks ask you to do, and the rewards you’ll receive for completing them.

Ultra Unlock 2021: Time Part 1

• Catch 10 Pokemon – An encounter with Diglett
• Use 5 Berries to Help Catch Pokemon – An encounter with Drilbur
• Catch 5 Different Species of Pokemon – 5 Nanab Berries

Final Rewards: 10 Poke Balls, 483 experience points, and 3 Ultra Balls

Ultra Unlock 2021: Time Part 2

• Catch 5 Voltorb – An encounter with Magnemite
• Transfer 7 Pokemon – 7 Ultra Balls
• Send 3 Gifts to Friends – 3 Pinap Berries

Final Rewards: 5 Great Balls, 483 experience points, and 3 Ultra Balls

Ultra Unlock 2021: Time Part 3

• Catch 10 Omanyte or Kabuto – An encounter with Aerodactyl
• Power Up Pokemon 5 Times – 3 Max Revives
• Earn 5 Hearts With Your Buddy – 7 Razz Berries

Final Rewards: 15 Poke Balls, 483 experience points, and 3 Ultra Balls

Ultra Unlock 2021: Time Part 4

• Catch 7 Porygon – 1 Upgrade
• Evolve a Pokemon – 8 Ultra Balls
• Use 10 Berries to Help Catch Pokemon – 5 Pinap Berries

Final Rewards: 10 Great Balls, 483 experience points, and 3 Ultra Balls

Ultra Unlock 2021: Time Part 5

• Catch 15 Rock-Type Pokemon – An encounter with Onix
• Win a Raid – An encounter with Shieldon
• Power Up Pokemon 7 Times – An encounter with Cranidos

Final Rewards: 30 Poke Balls, 3 Ultra Balls, and 2,000 Stardust
