Pokemon Go Misunderstood Mischief Special Research Tasks Guide

Trainers, the Season of Mischief has kicked off in Pokemon Go!

The Season of Mischief will run from September 1 to December 1, 2021. During this Season, players will be able to complete a Season-long series of Special Research tasks called “Misunderstood Mischief.”

The Misunderstood Mischief Special Research storyline will be released in waves, meaning players can’t complete the entire storyline just yet (as of this writing). As different events begin in Pokemon Go during the Season of Mischief, additional portions of the Misunderstood Mischief storyline will become available. The Misunderstood Mischief Special Research storyline has 16 parts to complete in all.

According to Leek Duck, here’s what these Misunderstood Mischief tasks ask you to do, and the rewards you’ll receive for completing them. Editor’s note (11/10/2021): All 16 parts of the Misunderstood Mischief Special Research storyline are now available.

Misunderstood Mischief Part 1

• Make 10 Nice Throws – 1 Incense
• Use an Incense – 10 Poke Balls
• Take 3 Snapshots of Wild Psychic-Type Pokemon – 10 Nanab Berries

Final Rewards: An encounter with Gothita, 1,000 experience points, and 500 Stardust

Misunderstood Mischief Part 3

• Make 5 Curveball Throws – 15 Poke Balls
• Catch 10 Different Species of Pokemon – 15 Great Balls

Final Rewards: An encounter with Hoopa, 1,000 experience points, and 1,000 Stardust
