Trainers, March 2022 is almost here, and that means it’s time to look ahead to some of the events and updates that will come to Pokemon Go next month.
Here’s a look at what’s coming soon.
Players will receive an encounter with Alolan Vulpix each time they achieve a Research Breakthrough. As a reminder, players achieve a Research Breakthrough each time they complete at least one Field Research task on seven separate days (it doesn’t have to be seven days in a row).
Each Monday in March 2022, an item bundle will be released in the in-game shop that costs a single PokeCoin. These bundles will contain a Remote Raid Pass and other items.
Here’s the schedule for Tier-5 Raids for the month of March:
The following Pokemon will appear in Mega Raids during March:
A Raid Hour event will take place each Wednesday in March from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. During these events, more Tier-5 Raids than normal will appear at Gyms that feature the Pokemon that’s appearing in Tier-5 Raids at the time. Here’s the schedule:
A Spotlight Hour event will take place each Tuesday in March from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Here are the Pokemon and bonuses that will be featured during these events:
Welcome to Alola – This event is related to the beginning of the Season of Alola in Pokemon Go. The Welcome to Alola event will run from March 1 until March 9. You can learn more about this event in our previous coverage.
Pokemon Go Community Day – March’s Community Day event will take place on March 13, and it will feature two Pokemon: Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew. You can learn more about this event in our previous coverage.
Festival of Colors – This event will run from March 15 to March 20. Additional details about this event will be released in the future.
Lush Jungle – This event will run from March 22 to March 29. The event will be inspired by the Alola region of the Pokemon universe. Additional details will be released in the future.
