Talonflame can learn a special move.
Trainers, mark you calendars, because the next Pokemon Go Community Day event will take place on March 6!
On March 6 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time, Fletchling will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you’ll receive three times the normal number of experience points when catching Pokemon. This experience point bonus will apply to every Pokemon you catch during the Community Day event, and not just Fletchling.
Fletchling is a Normal- and Flying-type Pokemon from Gen VI of the Pokemon universe (the Kalos region). It has two evolutions. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Fletchling into Fletchinder using 25 Fletchling Candy, and then evolve Fletchinder into Talonflame using 100 Fletchling Candy.
Each time you evolve Fletchinder into Talonflame during this event, or during the two hours immediately following it, it will learn the battle move Incinerate.
Also keep in mind that this Community Day event will give players the chance to encounter Shiny Fletchling!
Elsewhere, Incense activated during this Community Day event will remain active for three hours, rather than one, and players will be able to take Snapshots of Pokemon to receive surprise encounters with Fletchling.
Finally, there will be two optional ways to spend real money during this event. First, a “Community Day Box” will be available to purchase in the in-game store for 1,280 PokeCoins. It will contain 50 Ultra Balls, five Lucky Eggs, one Poffin, and one Elite Fast TM.
Players will also have the option to spend $1 on a ticket that will allow them to access a Special Research storyline on Community Day called “The Bravest Bird.” We expect tickets for this Special Research storyline will go on sale a few days before the event. Keep checking back with SuperParent, as we’ll make sure to let you know when tickets become available, and how you can buy one!
