Codes are included in products in the Pokemon Go expansion for the Pokemon Trading Card Game.
The Pokemon Go expansion for the Pokemon Trading Card Game (Pokemon TCG) is now available in stores. The Pokemon Go expansion features cards that are inspired by the Pokemon Go mobile game. For instance, the expansion includes an Item card featuring a Lure Module, a Stadium card featuring a PokeStop, a Blissey card that pictures the pocket monster defending a Gym, and more.
Cards in the Pokemon Go expansion are available in multiple packages. Fans can purchase an Elite Trainer Box, a Poke Ball Tin, two different Battle Decks, and many more products featuring these cards.
When fans purchase one of these products, the package will contain a piece of paper that has one or more codes they can redeem in the Pokemon Go mobile game to receive free in-game items. You can see what this paper looks like in our screenshot below (the codes on the paper have already been redeemed).

To redeem a Pokemon TCG code in Pokemon Go, head to Niantic’s “Offer Redemption” website at “rewards.nianticlabs.com”, without the quotation marks. (For reference, Niantic is the developer of Pokemon Go.)
Now, sign in to your Pokemon Go account using your Google, Facebook, or Niantic Kids account. That is, you’ll need to login to Niantic’s Offer Redemption website using the same credentials you use to login to Pokemon Go. If you created your Pokemon Go account using your Google account, you can click the “Sign in with Google” button, and so on.
Once you’ve logged in, you should see your Pokemon Go username and in-game level. If you don’t see the correct account information, click the “Sign out” button and login with the credentials for the account you want to use.
After you’ve logged in with the correct account, type the promotional code included in the Pokemon TCG product in the text-entry field under the text that reads “Enter offer code.” Then, click the “Submit” button.
If you’ve entered the code correctly, you should now be able to open the Pokemon Go mobile application on your smart device to receive your reward(s).
