Trainers, the Pokemon Go Community Day Classic event will take place on January 22 from 2 p.m. local time to 5 p.m. local time.
During this event, Bulbasaur will appear more frequently than normal in the wild, and you may encounter Shiny Bulbasaur (though this won’t be guaranteed). To see everything that’s going on during this Community Day Classic event, check out our previous coverage.
As part of the Community Day Classic festivities, players have the option to spend $0.99 on a ticket that will give them access to a Special Research storyline called “Bulbasaur Community Day Classic.”
Players aren’t required to purchase this ticket to participate in the Community Day Classic event. Instead, this ticket is there for players who are comfortable spending real money to receive extra in-game content.
Finally, remember that if you decide to purchase this ticket, it can’t be purchased with PokeCoins. It can only be purchased with a real money transaction.
Here’s how to get a “Bulbasaur Community Day Classic” ticket in Pokemon Go!
Open Pokemon Go and tap the Poke Ball at the bottom of the screen.
Tap the “Shop” icon.
Now, scroll down to the “Global Events” section and tap the “Bulbasaur Community Day Classic Tticket.”
Tap the “Buy” button to complete the purchase on your device.
If you purchase one of these tickets, remember that you’ll need to open Pokemon Go at some point between 2 p.m. local time and 5 p.m. local time on January 22 in order to receive the Special Research.
