Pokemon Go Bidoof Special Research Tasks Guide

Pokemon Go is celebrating Bidoof by giving this Normal-type Pokemon its very own Bidoof Day event. As part of this event, players can complete a Special Research storyline called simply “Bidoof.”

This Special Research is unique, as it gives players the opportunity to make choices that will determine the rewards they’ll receive.

According to LeekDuck, here’s what the Bidoof Special Research tasks ask you to do, and the rewards you’ll receive for completing them.

Bidoof Part 1

• Use 3 Berries to Help Catch Pokemon – An encounter with Bidoof
• Catch 6 Normal-type Pokemon – 3 Pinap Berries
• Catch 3 Bidoof – An encounter with Bidoof

Final Rewards: 399 experience points, 399 Stardust, and an encounter with Bidoof

Once you complete Part 1, the game will give you a choice between two options. Option 1 is called “Choose Bidoof,” while Option 2 is called “Bidoof…?”

Bidoof Part 2 (Choose Bidoof! option)

• Catch 1 Normal-Type Pokemon – An encounter with Bidoof
• Take a Snapshot of Bidoof – 3 Pinap Berries
• Catch 5 Bidoof – An encounter with Bidoof

Final Rewards: 399 experience points, 399 Stardust, and an encounter with Bidoof

Bidoof Part 2 (Bidoof…? option)

• Catch 1 Normal-type Pokemon – An encounter with Bidoof
• Take a Snapshot of Bidoof – 5 Razz Berries
• Catch 5 Bidoof – An encounter with Bidoof

Final Rewards: 399 experience points, 399 Stardust, and an encounter with Bidoof

Once you finish Part 2, you’ll need to make another choice between Option 1: Nerves of Steel and Option 2: Nests Near Water.

Bidoof Part 3 (Nerves of Steel option)

• Transfer 10 Pokemon – 10 Super Potions
• Take a Snapshot of Bidoof – An encounter with Bidoof
• Catch 10 Bidoof – 5 Razz Berries

Final Rewards: 399 experience points, 399 Stardust, and an encounter with Bidoof

Bidoof Part 3 (Nests Near Water option)

• Transfer 10 Pokemon – 10 Poke Balls
• Take a Snapshot of Bidoof – An encounter with Bidoof
• Catch 10 Bidoof – 3 Pinap Berries

Final Rewards: 399 experience points, 399 Stardust, and an encounter with Bidoof

• Catch 5 Bidoof – An encounter with Bidoof
