Players will be able to use Mega-Evolved Pokemon in the Master League.
A one day “Go Battle Day” event is coming to Pokemon Go!
The Go Battle Day: Stardust Surprise event will take place on May 29, 2022 from 12:00 a.m. local time to 11:59 p.m. local time.
During this event, players will be able to compete in Go Battle League battles in the Great League, Ultra League, and Master League. Players will be able to complete up to 100 battles during this event.
In addition, players will be able to use Mega-Evolved Pokemon in the Master League during this Go Battle Day event.
Players will receive four times the normal amount of Stardust as they win battles in the Go Battle League during this event.
Finally, on the Pokemon Go website, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, announced one of the rewards players can receive if they participate in this Go Battle Day event:
- “Trainers who complete a set at any rank during this GO Battle Day will receive the Gladion’s Pants avatar item!*
- Trainers who have already received the Gladion’s Pants avatar item from the rank 20 rewards will not receive another.”
