Here are some of the updates and events coming to Pokemon Go in April 2022!
As CNET spotted, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, announced some of the updates and events that will be coming to Pokemon Go in April 2022.
Here’s a look at some of the content that’s coming soon.
From April 1, 2022 at 1 p.m. PT until May 1 at 1 p.m. PT, players will receive an encounter with Alolan Marowak each time they achieve a Research Breakthrough. As a reminder, players achieve a Research Breakthrough each time they complete at least one Field Research task on seven separate days (it doesn’t have to be seven days in a row).
Each Monday in April, a bundle will be added to the in-game shop that costs 1 PokeCoin. Each bundle will contain a Remote Raid Pass and other items.
Here’s the schedule for Tier-5 Raids for the month of April.
The following Mega Evolved Pokemon will appear in Mega Raids in April:
A Raid Hour event will take place each Wednesday in April from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. During these events, more Raids will appear at Gyms than normal, which feature the Pokemon that’s appearing in Tier-5 Raids at the time. Here’s the schedule:
Each Tuesday in April, a Spotlight Hour event will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time. Here are the Pokemon and bonuses that will be featured during each event:
In addition to Pokemon Go Community Day on April 23, 2022, a variety of limited-time events will take place in April. Here’s when these events will take place.
April Fools’ 2-Oh?-22 Event – This event will take place on April 1, 2022.
All-Hands Rocket Retreat – This event will run from April 3 until April 7. It will focus on Team Go Rocket.
Spring into Spring Event – This event will run from April 12 until April 18.
Sustainability Week – This event will run from April 20 to April 25. It will focus on the topic of sustainability. In addition, new Pokemon from the Alola region of the Pokemon universe will be added to the game.
