Nintendo Switch Road Trip Will Travel Across the U.S. This Summer

Last year, Nintendo teamed up with Walmart to bring the “Summer of Fun” tour to Walmart stores across the U.S. This year, Nintendo is hosting another tour on its own — the Nintendo Switch Road Trip — which will visit 13 locations, giving families the chance to try a variety of Switch games, participate in Nintendo-themed challenges, and more.

The tour kicks off on June 26 at Navy Pier in Chicago, and ends October 6 at the Georgia National Fair in Perry, Georgia. Here are all of the stops that are currently scheduled:

• Navy Pier – Chicago, Illinois – June 26 – 30
• Summerfest – Milwaukee, Wisconsin – July 3-7
• California State Fair – Sacramento, California – July 12-14
• Bite of Seattle – Seattle, Washington – July 19-21
• Musikfest – Bethlehem, Pennsylvania – August 2-4
• Iowa State Fair – Des Moines, Iowa – August 8-11
• Kentucky State Fair – Louisville, Kentucky – August 15-19
• The Great New York State Fair – Syracuse, New York – August 22-25
• Minnesota State Fair – Saint Paul, Minnesota – August 30-September 2
• New Mexico State Fair – Albuquerque, New Mexico – September 6-8
• LA County Fair – Pamona, California – September 11-15
• The Big E – West Springfield, Massachusetts – September 26-29
• Georgia National Fair – Perry Georgia – October 3-6

At each stop on the tour, families will be able to try eight different Switch games:

• Super Mario Maker 2
• Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
• Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
• Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu
• Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee
• Overcooked! 2
• Super Mario Party
• Splatoon 2

In addition, the tour will give families the chance to take pictures with “fun photo opportunities.” They’ll also be able to complete Nintendo-themed challenges. My Nintendo members will be able to check in at each stop with their My Nintendo QR code to receive a gift, while supplies last. Finally, attendees will receive Target discount coupons at every stop, again, while supplies last.
