The 'expandalone' game allows players to become popular Marvel villains.
Last summer, tabletop game and jigsaw puzzle company Ravensburger released Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power, a strategy tabletop game that allows players to take on the roles of various Marvel villains, like Thanos and Ultron.
In April 2021, the first expansion was revealed for Marvel Villainous, which will give players more villains to choose from and different objectives to complete. Specifically, the game will feature three new villains: Loki, Madame Masque, and M.O.D.O.K.
The Marvel Villainous: Mischief & Malice expansion is technically an “expandalone” game, meaning it can be played on its own as a complete experience. However, if your family already owns Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power, you can also mix the characters from the two games to create a game for up to four players.
Marvel Villainous: Mischief & Malice won’t be released until August 1, but the game has now gone up for pre-order at Target and Amazon. It will cost $24.99, and it has a recommended age rating of 12+. If you play Mischief & Malice on its own, it supports 2-3 players.
While Mischief & Malice will be available at multiple major retailers, Target will sell an exclusive version of the game that has a “special Loki mover.”
