Turn the world from red to blue in this 3D puzzle platforming game.
Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is now available on consoles and PC.
Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is a 3D puzzle platforming game that takes players to an underwater world known as the Great Depths. A phenomenon known as the “shift” has caused the Great Depths to turn red, and players will need to help a critter named Lumote complete puzzles in order to return the Great Depths to blue.
In each level of Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles, players will need to navigate platforms and solve puzzles in order to open a flower gate so they can progress.
The game’s puzzle areas are filled with bioluminescent creatures called “Motes,” which players can interact with in order to create a path to reach the flower gate in each area. There are multiple varieties of Motes, which behave differently. As a couple of examples, players can “ride” some Motes to move them around the environment, and they can also cause some Motes to “expand” in order to cross large gaps in the path or reach a tall platform.
Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles also features hidden collectibles that players can collect as they play.
Finally, once players make their way through the game as Lumote, they’ll be able to complete a second set of levels as the “Mastermote.”
Lumote: The Mastermote Chronicles is now available for $19.99 on Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
