Race your favorite Hot Wheels cars in new university-themed tracks
Koch Media and Milestone have unveiled a brand new area for their upcoming racer Hot Wheels Unleashed, and this setting is taking the iconic racing franchise back to school.
The new environment is called College Campus, joining the previously revealed Garage and Skyscraper areas. The Campus includes a chemistry lab, classroom, and library area, and players will be able to build and race on tracks that twist through each room using a connecting hallway or the ventilation shafts in the ceiling.
Some of the debuting Hot Wheels cars shown in the trailer include the hot dog-themed Street Wiener, the gold-plated skeleton car Skull Crusher, and the massive Tanknator.
Hot Wheels Unleashed is due for release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 30 for $49.99. Hot Wheels Unleashed has yet to be rated by the ESRB, but the racing action will be family-friendly.
