Deliver packages... using tanks!
Natsume, a developer and publisher of family-friendly video games, revealed new details about ConnecTank, a multiplayer tank battle and puzzle game being developed by YummyYummyTummy, a member of the Natsume Indie Program.
ConnecTank will allow 1-4 players to become couriers for one of three Barons who are all trying to become the “top Tycoon” of a world called New Pangea. The game will challenge players to deliver packages by choosing from different routes and competing in tank battles against enemy tanks.
During tank battles, players will be able to craft ammo using blueprints and then fire it at the enemy. You can see a preview of how this will work in the screenshot below. As players progress, they’ll be able to improve their tanks and collect parts that will eventually allow them to unlock new ones.
Each tank has a different set of skills, weaknesses, and strengths, so players will need to use strategy to choose the best one for the job. ConnecTank will feature hundreds of missions to complete, a range of power-ups, and more.
ConnecTank will be released on Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in fall 2021. While the game has yet to be rated by the ESRB, Natsume’s focus on family-friendly titles means the game will be appropriate for families.
