Test your skills on your own and against other people.

Nintendo announced Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain for Switch. The game is the latest title in the Big Brain Academy franchise, which began with the original Big Brain Academy on Nintendo DS in 2006 in North America.

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain is a brain-training game as well as a party game for up to four players. The game will feature multiple modes to choose from, which will allow players to test their skills and reflexes by completing challenges in five categories: Identify, Memorize, Analyze, Compute, and Visualize.

In the game’s Party Mode, up to four players in the same room will compete to “quickly” complete activities. Each player in the group can set their own personal difficulty level, which will allow kids to compete against adults with a more level playing field.

In addition to Party Mode, players can complete activities on their own in Solo Mode, as well as practice different activities in Practice Mode. There’s also a Test Mode that will allow players to complete a series (a test) of five activities to receive their “Big Brain Brawn” score. As players complete multiple Tests over time, they’ll receive in-game coins that can be used to purchase costumes for their character.

Finally, the game’s Ghost Mode will allow players to challenge the “play data” of other people, including their friends and family, as well as random people from around the world.

Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain will be released on Switch on December 3 for $29.99. The digital version of the game is available to pre-order now on the Nintendo eShop. Big Brain Academy: Brain vs. Brain has yet to be rated by the ESRB, but it will be family friendly.
