The Version 2.0 update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons is finally available! This update adds a ton of new features and quality of life improvements to the game, including the ability to add Brewster and The Roost to your Museum.
Brewster is a Pigeon that runs The Roost coffee shop. Once the cafe has been built in your Museum, you’ll be able to chat with Brewster, drink some coffee, and even hang out with your friends inside the space (both real friends and your animal buddies).
As Eurogamer reported, before you can add The Roost to your Museum, you’ll need to find Brewster first. Check out our video guide below to see how this is done, or keep reading for the details!
As Eurogamer reported, to start the process of building the cafe, you’ll need to head to the Museum and chat with Blathers, who will tell you about his idea to add a cafe to the Museum. There’s just one catch: No one knows where Brewster has gone!
Blathers will tell you that he’s heard about some Gyroids being found near the islands players can visit as part of Kapp’n boat tours. He’ll also tell you that Brewster loves Gyroids.
As Eurogamer reported, you’ll need to take one of Kapp’n’s boat tours in order to find Brewster, who is searching for Gyroids. Once you meet him on one of these island tours, he’ll agree to come to your island so that you can open the cafe.
Once you chat with Brewster, head back to your island and talk to Blathers, who will begin the construction process for the cafe. Your Museum will be closed the next day for construction, and The Roost will open the day after that.
As Eurogamer pointed out, you can only take one of Kapp’n boat tours once per day, so if you want to unlock Brewster and The Roost as quickly as possible, make sure to talk to Blathers before ever taking your first boat tour!
