Here's how to access this content once you purchase it.
The Happy Home Paradise downloadable content (DLC) is now available for Animal Crossing: New Horizons! This DLC pack allows players to join Lottie’s Paradise Planning team and design vacation homes for lots of animal villagers.
The Happy Home Paradise DLC is a premium add-on for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It can be purchased from the Nintendo eShop for $24.99. It’s also available at no additional cost for players who have a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership (you can learn more about this membership in our previous coverage).
Once you download the Happy Home Paradise DLC on your Switch, you can start this new content by simply opening Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
After the game loads and your character leaves their home, you’ll receive a call from Tom Nook asking you to head to the airport to meet someone. You’ll be introduced to Lottie, who hires you as the newest employee of the Paradise Planning team.
The Paradise Planning headquarters is located on a set of islands that can be reached from your island’s airport. When you’re ready to get to work, talk to Orville in your island’s airport and choose the “I want to go to work” option.
And that’s all there is to it! Once you reach the Paradise Planning islands, you can begin decorating vacation homes for clients and more. Check out our gameplay video above to see the beginning of the Happy Home Paradise DLC in action!
