New Horizons is celebrating International Children's Day.
International Children’s Day is June 1, 2020. For a limited time, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is celebrating the event with the addition of two new items to the Nook Shopping catalog: a Handmade Cape and a Handmade Crown.
Our guide will show you how to buy these items for yourself and/or a friend!
Select the Nook Shopping app on the Nook Stop terminal in the Resident Services building. (Keep in mind that if you’ve unlocked the Nook Shopping app on your NookPhone, you can open the Nook Shopping app from anywhere.)
Choose “Special Goods.”
Press “L” on your controller to move over to the “Seasonal” items tab.
The Handmade Cape costs 500 Bells, while the Handmade Crown costs 300 Bells. Highlight the item you want to purchase, and then press “A” to select it.
If you want to buy the item for yourself (or to send to someone at a later date), choose “Place Order.” If you want to immediately send the item as a gift to an in-game friend, choose “Send as Gift.” If you select “Place Order,” the item will be delivered to your mailbox the next day.
While International Children’s Day is June 1, these two items will be available to purchase in New Horizons until June 30, 2020.
