Care for a baby in this parenting simulation game on Switch.
My Baby is a parenting simulation game that allows players to become a new parent and watch their child grow from newborn to two years old.
When you first start playing My Baby, you’ll need to choose whether you want to play as the “Mommy” or “Daddy.” You can then choose whether you want to take care of a boy or girl, or ask the game to “surprise” you. Even if you choose to be surprised, you can still change your mind before starting the game. Finally, you’ll need to name your baby before getting started.
Once you’ve become a parent, you’ll need to take care of your baby by feeding it, changing its diaper, playing with it, taking it for walks in a stroller, changing its clothes, and more. It’s worth pointing out that, while the game doesn’t feature actual genitalia, when you complete tasks like changing the baby’s diaper, you will see the naked child with a discolored area near its bottom.
The game’s activities are straightforward, and typically ask you to move an on-screen hand to interact with the required items. For instance, when it’s time to feed your baby, you may need to move the bottle toward their mouth and then tilt it to the correct angle so they’re able to drink all of the milk.
As you complete activities, you’ll unlock new items for your baby, and you’ll also earn coins that can be spent on new clothing.
Finally, you can take pictures of your baby as it grows, and then view them later on in the in-game photo album.
My Baby is the first game in the “My Universe” series, which has the goal of giving kids the chance to see what it’s like being an adult.
My Baby is now available on Switch for $29.99. It’s rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
