You'll need to capture lots of Pokemon to earn your rewards.
Pokemon Go’s Fifth Anniversary event kicks off on July 6. This event will allow players to complete a new Collection Challenge in order to earn some fun rewards. (To see everything happening during the game’s Fifth Anniversary event, check out our previous coverage).
According to Leek Duck, players who complete this Fifth Anniversary Collection Challenge will receive an encounter with Flying Pikachu with a 5-Shaped Balloon, 80 Poke Balls, and three Rare Candy.
Here are the Pokemon you’ll need to collect to finish this Collection Challenge, according to Leek Duck.
During this event, Chespin, Fennekin, Froakie, and Flying Pikachu with the 5-Shaped Balloon will appear in Tier-1 Raids, while Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie will appear near PokeStops with active Lure Modules.
Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Snivy, Tepig, and Flying Pikachu with a 5-Shaped Balloon will appear in the wild during this event, and Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie will be available to encounter as Field Research rewards.
The game’s Fifth Anniversary Event will end on July 15 at 8 p.m. local time.
