Players can travel around game boards that were originally seen on Nintendo 64.

Mario Party Superstars is now available on Nintendo Switch. The board game title allows players to compete to earn the most stars in each board game, as well as compete in 100 different mini-games, with many being games that were originally seen in the Mario Party titles on Nintendo 64 and Nintendo GameCube.

Mario Party Superstars features multiple gameplay modes, and every mode supports online multiplayer. The Mario Party (board game) mode allows players to compete in board games with up to three other players or computer-controlled opponents. There are five different boards to choose from, which were originally seen in the Mario Party games that were released on Nintendo 64: Yoshi’s Tropical Island, Space Land, Peach’s Birthday Cake, Woody Woods, and Horror Land.

Each board has its own difficulty level. Plus, if players are competing against the computer, they can set the difficulty of each one to create an experience that suits their play style. Players can also choose how many turns to play in each game, depending on whether they want to play a shorter or longer game.

While playing in the Mario Party (board game) mode, players will take turns rolling a die and moving around the game board. Each space they land on will trigger a special effect or action. For instance, some spaces will cause players to instantly gain coins, while another space will allow them to purchase items at the shop, and so on.

Once all four players have rolled the die and moved around the board, the group will be able to play a mini-game for a chance to earn coins. Some games challenge all four players to compete against one another, while others split the players into two teams of two. Finally, there are some games that have a single player compete against the other three.

As players make their way around the game board, they’ll have the chance to collect stars, which can help them win the game.

Outside of the Mario Party (board game) mode, the Mt. Minigames mode allows players to compete in mini-games without playing the board game.

Mario Party Superstars is now available on Nintendo Switch for $59.99. The game is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB.
