The limited-edition Magic 8 Ball will be available in two colors.
Mattel has partnered with FriendsWithYou to release a limited edition Magic 8 Ball that’s inspired by the FriendsWithYou character “Little Cloud.”
FriendsWithYou is an art collaboration between Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III. According to the FriendsWithYou website, the collaboration was “created with the intention to bring more joy, kindness, and love to the world.”
The “Lucky Little Cloud” Magic 8 Ball will be available in two versions: Cloud White and Golden Amulet. The white version will be priced at $40, while the gold version will be priced at $60.
Both versions will go on sale on the Mattel Creations website on May 20, 2022 at 9 a.m. PT. Less than 3,000 of the white version and less than 1,000 of the gold version will be available to purchase on the Mattel Creations website.
The Mattel Creations website said the Lucky Little Cloud Magic 8 Ball will also be available to purchase at “our Fred Segal pop-up store in Los Angeles (8500 Sunset Blvd).”
