The game will allow up to four players to play together on a single Switch.
In a recent Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo revealed Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, an updated version of the original Kirby’s Return to Dream Land video game that was released on Wii in 2011.
In Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, Kirby will be challenged to help Magolor, whose ship has crash-landed on Planet Popstar. The platforming game will allow up to four people to play the game cooperatively on a single Switch system.
As players make their way through Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, they’ll be able to inhale enemies to use Kirby’s different Copy Abilities, including a new “Mecha” ability.
In addition, the game will allow players to play a variety of subgames, or mini-games. The game will include subgames that were available in the original Kirby’s Return to Dream Land video game, as well as some new subgames, such as the “Magolor’s Tome Trackers” game.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe will be released on Switch on February 24, 2023 for $59.99. The digital version of the game is available to pre-order now on the Nintendo eShop.
Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe has yet to be rated by the ESRB, but the original Kirby’s Return to Dream Land was rated E10+ for Everyone 10+, so we expect Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe will receive the same rating.
