The game will allow players to battle enemies in real-time combat.
In Xbox’s recent Developer Direct video presentation, Square Enix showed off Visions of Mana, the latest game in the “Mana” series, which began with the release of Final Fantasy Adventure in Japan in 1991.
Visions of Mana will take players to a fantasy world where they’ll help a soul guard named Val on his quest to protect his childhood friend on her pilgrimage to the Tree of Mana.
Visions of Mana is an action-RPG (action role-playing game) that will allow players to explore a colorful in-game world and battle a variety of enemies in real-time combat. In addition to attacking enemies while they’re on the ground, players will be able to attack enemies with weapons and magic attacks while they’re in the air.
The game will also allow players to ride an adorable companion called the “pikuls” around the in-game world.
Visions of Mana will be released on PlayStation consoles, Xbox consoles, and PC in summer 2024. The game’s exact release date has yet to be revealed.
While Visions of Mana has yet to be rated by the ESRB, previous games in the franchise have been rated E10+ for Everyone 10+ or T for Teen, so we expect Visions of Mana will receive a similar rating.
