Three Master Sync Pairs will be available to collect for a limited time.
Pokemon Masters EX is celebrating its fourth anniversary with a major content update that will allow players to collect new Sync Pairs, try the new EX Role, and more.
This update will give players the chance to collect the Master Sync Pairs of Red (Champion) & Articuno, Leaf (Champion) & Moltres, and Blue (Champion) & Zapdos for a limited time. Each Sync Pair will be available through its own Scout. Scouts are the game’s “mystery box” feature, which means players won’t be guaranteed to receive these Sync Pairs even if they spend real money to access the Scouts.
With the release of these Master Sync Pairs, a new feature has also been added to the game called the “EX Role.” Certain Sync Pairs can have the EX Role, which improves players’ stats. If a Sync Pair with the EX Role is upgraded to 6Star EX, its Sync Move will also be improved. The Master Sync Pairs of Red (Champion) & Articuno, Leaf (Champion) & Moltres, and Blue (Champion) & Zapdos are the first three Sync Pairs to have the EX Role.
As part of this update, a new Story Event called Neo Champions: Three Trainers will be available until October 1, 2023. The Final Chapter has also been added to the game’s Villain Arc.
For a limited time, players will have the chance to collect the Sync Pair of Victor & Spectrier by completing the first Story Level in the “Special Sync Pair Event: Victor & Spectrier,” which will be available until September 29, 2023.
The Sync Pair of Victor & Spectrier is the game’s first Sync Pair with the new “Field Role.”
According to a press release, the Field Role allows players “to apply a battlefield effect that powers up Ghost-type attacks the first time they use their sync move.”
Finally, players can receive up to 10 free 10-Pair Scout Tickets if they login to Pokemon Masters EX on 10 different days between now and September 14, 2023. Each 10-Pair Scout Ticket will allow players to claim 10 Sync Pairs for free. If players login to the game on 10 different days during this time period, they’ll receive 100 free Sync Pairs in total.
Players can also receive up to 4,000 free Gems (the game’s premium currency) if they login to Pokemon Masters EX on seven different days between now and September 6, 2023.
Pokemon Masters EX is available to download for free on iOS and Android devices. The game is rated 4+ on iOS and E for Everyone on Android. You can learn more about Pokemon Masters EX in our SuperParent First Look.
