Everything you need to know!

With the start of the 2022 Valentine’s Day event in Pokemon Go, three new pocket monsters are available to collect in the free-to-play mobile game: Flabebe, Floette, and Florges.

Flabebe, Floette, and Florges are Fairy-type Pokemon from the sixth generation of the Pokemon universe. These Pokemon are available to collect in five different varieties: Red Flower, Yellow Flower, Orange Flower, Blue Flower, and White Flower.

Two of the five versions of Flabebe – White Flower Flabebe and Orange Flower Flabebe – can be found in all areas around the world in Pokemon Go. The other three versions will only be available in certain geographical regions, as of this writing:

  • Red Flower Flabebe – Europe, Middle East, and Africa
  • Blue Flower Flabebe – Asia-Pacific
  • Yellow Flower Flabebe – Americas

Here’s how to evolve Flabebe into Floette and how to evolve Floette into Florges in Pokemon Go!

To start, evolving Flabebe into Floette doesn’t require any special steps. You can evolve Flabebe into Floette using 25 Flabebe Candy.

Evolving Floette into Florges is a bit more complicated. In order to evolve Floette into Florges, you’ll need to first make Floette your Buddy and then earn 20 Hearts with Floette while it’s your Buddy Pokemon. After that point, you can evolve Floette into Florges using 100 Flabebe Candy.

You can view how many Hearts you’ve earned with Floette as your Buddy by tapping on the Floette in your Pokemon collection and then tapping the arrow next to the “Adventure together to evolve” text.

Each time you want to evolve a Floette into Florges, you’ll need to repeat this step by earning 20 Hearts with the Floette as your Buddy before being allowed to evolve it.

And that’s all there is to it!
