Tickets are available now.

As spotted by Serebii.net, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, has revealed details about the Pokemon Go Fest: Sapporo event that will take place this summer.

Pokemon Go Fest: Sapporo will be held from August 5, 2022 to August 7, 2022 in Nakajima Park in Sapporo, Japan. Some of the event’s features will also be available across the entire city of Sapporo.

Tickets for the Pokemon Go Fest: Sapporo event are now available to purchase for ¥3,000. Even though this event will take place across three days, players can only purchase a ticket for one of the three days. The tickets are being sold on a “first come, first served basis,” and it’s possible they may sell out.

Each day of the Pokemon Go Fest: Sapporo event will be split into morning and afternoon sessions, and players will be able to choose which version of the event they want to experience when they purchase a ticket.

If players purchase a ticket for the morning session of the event, they’ll be able to access the event’s features in Nakajima Park from 8 a.m. local time to 1:30 p.m. local time on their selected date. Players with tickets for the morning session will be able to access the “city” portion of the event from 2:30 p.m. local time to 8 p.m. local time on their selected day.

If players purchase a ticket for the afternoon session, they’ll be able to access the “city” portion of the event from 8 a.m. local time to 1:30 p.m. local time on their selected date, and then experience the event’s features in Nakajima Park from 2:30 p.m. local time until 8 p.m. local time on their selected date.

On the Pokemon Go website, Niantic detailed the features and bonuses that will be available during the Pokemon Go Fest Sapporo event:

“Trainers who purchase a ticket to Pokémon GO Fest: Sapporo will be able to enjoy the following in Nakajima Park on their selected event day and time.

Niantic also said, “All Trainers in Sapporo will have access to special Pokémon GO Fest 2022 raids—including Cresselia and Darkrai in five-star raids—during Pokémon GO Fest: Sapporo from Friday, August 5, 2022, to Sunday, August 7, 2022.”

Finally, Niantic announced that players will have the option to purchase optional “add-ons” for the Pokemon Go Fest: Sapporo event when they purchase their event ticket:

“As a new addition to our live events, we’re offering Trainers the chance to enhance their event experience with special, optional add-ons. These add-ons can only be purchased when you purchase your live event ticket and cannot be added later. Add-on bonuses will be active from Friday, August 5, 2022, to Sunday, August 7.

  • Raid Lover add-on +¥1,200 (including applicable taxes): This add-on grants up to 12 in-person Raid Passes total for each day by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms, an additional 5,000 XP after every raid you complete successfully, and six additional Candy and three additional Candy XL after catching Pokémon in five-star raids.
  • Critical Hatch add-on +¥1,200 (including applicable taxes): Hatch Eggs in 1/4 the normal distance (this bonus does not stack with other similar bonuses), and earn double the XP, double the Candy, and double the Stardust for hatching Eggs.”
