Cover the map with camellias!
The next Pikmin Bloom Community Day event is scheduled to take place on January 22, 2022. Rather than only running for a few hours, this event will last the entire day on January 22.
During January’s Community Day event, Big Flowers will bloom into camellias when players plant normal red, yellow, blue, or white petals around them. In addition, seedlings will grow at 1.5 times the normal speed on Community Day (this speed will increase even more if players are planting flowers during this time).
During Community Day, players will receive one coin for every 250 flowers they plant, rather than the normal requirement of 500. Players can earn a maximum of 60 coins from planting flowers on Community Day.
Finally, if players walk at least 10,000 steps on January 22, they’ll receive a Camellia Flower Badge for their profile.
Beginning on January 22 (and going forward until further notice), players will be able to collect fruits with camellia nectar when they complete in-game challenges. This camellia nectar will replace the poinsettia nectar that’s currently available as of this writing.
