Changing your name is a snap!

When you first begin New Pokemon Snap, you’ll be able to choose from a few appearances for your in-game character, as well as give your character a name. If you ever decide you want to change your character’s name later on, you can do so by visiting the game’s Lab. Here’s how!

(Before we begin, keep in mind that there are two ways you can change your character’s name. In addition to the method we’ll share below, you can also change your character’s name by visiting the “Your Info” section of the “Your Space” area in the Lab.)

Select the “Lab” icon on the game’s main screen.

New Pokemon Snap features lots of content, and it will likely take you quite some time to see and do everything. That being the case, you may want to check out the ChargePlay Clutch from HyperX. It can extend your device’s battery life so you can play New Pokemon Snap (and other Switch games) for a longer period of time before having to charge your Switch. Head over to HyperX’s website to learn more about the ChargePlay Clutch and the company’s other Switch accessories.
