Here are some early details about both games.

At the Kingdom Hearts 20th Anniversary event in Tokyo April 10, Square Enix revealed two new games in the Kingdom Hearts franchise: Kingdom Hearts IV and Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link.

Kingdom Hearts IV is the latest role-playing game (RPG) in the main series of Kingdom Hearts titles. In the game’s announcement trailer, Sora takes on a giant enemy in a modern city with realistic graphics.

Square Enix said Kingdom Hearts IV “is in early development,” so the game won’t be released for some time.

Next, Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link is a mobile game in development for iOS and Android devices. According to a press release, the game “allows players to embark on adventures from the realm of Scala ad Caelum into the real world.” Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link will feature “a new, original story” for players to experience.

Square Enix didn’t announce the release date for Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, but the company said a closed beta test for the game is “planned” to take place in 2022.
