The in-game party kicks off this week.
Mark your calendars, because a Party Royale kickoff event is scheduled to take place in Fortnite this week!
Party Royale is a casual hangout space within the world of Fortnite. According to the game’s website, there are no weapons or materials in this mode. Instead, players can hang out with others and complete activities like an “aerial obstacle course at Skydive Rift” and “boat races at Fishsticks’ Boat Race.”
On May 8 at 9 p.m. ET, the “Party Royale Premiere” event will take place in Fortnite, featuring appearances from Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, and deadmau5. While the event starts at 9 p.m. ET, you can join at any time before 10 p.m. ET to see the rest of the show.
If you can’t play Fortnite during the live show, the Party Royale Premiere event will be replayed on May 9 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET.
Finally, anyone who logins into Fortnite between May 8 at 6 p.m. ET and May 10 at 10 a.m. ET will receive a free Neon Wings Back Bling, which the Fortnite website described as being “music-reactive.”
