Days of Wonder revealed Ticket to Ride: Ghost Train, a new version of the original Ticket to Ride: First Journey tabletop game. Ticket to Ride: First Journey (and Ticket to Ride: Ghost Train) are designed to introduce younger players to the larger Ticket to Ride tabletop game franchise.
Ticket to Ride: Ghost Train is designed for 2-4 players aged 6+. The game takes place in a “Chilling Town,” and it will allow players to connect locations around the town using Haunted Carriage pieces. As a few examples, some of the locations on the game board include the Mad Scientist’s Lab, the Graveyard, and the Pumpkin Patch.
Ticket to Ride: Ghost Train will include 80 Haunted Carriage pieces, 72 Parade Float Cards, 33 Tickets, and four “Trick or Treat” Bonus Tickets. Each game will have an expected play time of 15-30 minutes.
On Twitter, Days of Wonder said Ticket to Ride: Ghost Train “should” become available in North America and Europe in September 2022, and worldwide in October 2022.
