It can fold away when playtime is over.
In early 2021, toy company WowWee released the first products in its “Pop2Play” line, which features foldable playsets for young kids.
The Pop2Play line features a foldable slide, a two-in-one nursery and kitchen, and more. They’re made of durable “StrongFold cardboard” that’s designed to hold up to 50 pounds. The playsets will fold down after playtime is over, so they can easily slide under a bed, behind a shelf, and more.
Later this year, the Barbie Dream Playhouse will join the Pop2Play collection. The Barbie Dream Playhouse will feature doors and windows that open and close, with the door opening being large enough for small children to crawl through.
While the playset won’t be a completely enclosed structure (it’s open at the back), it will feature “a pop-up bed and dresser along with cardboard accessories” that will let kids play with their own Barbies and other toys “inside” the house.
WowWee’s Pop2Play Barbie Dreamhouse playset will be released in November 2021 at Amazon and Meijer for $59.99.
