XSEED Games announced Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is coming to Nintendo Switch.
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life was originally released on Nintendo GameCube in 2003 with the name Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life.
(The Story of Seasons and Harvest Moon series have a complicated history. The original series of Harvest Moon games from developer Marvelous became “Story of Seasons,” and the current Harvest Moon games are released by a different company, Natsume.)
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life is a farming simulation game that will allow players to travel to Forgotten Valley, where they’ll take over their father’s farm. The game will allow players to grow crops, raise animals, complete requests for the valley’s citizens, and more.
Players will be able to play the game as a male, female, or non-binary character, and they’ll be able to choose from a variety of marriage candidates regardless of their choice. Players will also be able to raise a child with their chosen partner and watch them grow up.
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life will be released on Switch in summer 2023. As of this writing, the game’s exact release date hasn’t been revealed.
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life has yet to be rated by the ESRB, but the game will be family-friendly.
