This event is right around the corner!
The next Pokemon Go Community Day event will take place on October 15, 2023 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time.
During this event, Timburr will appear more frequently than normal in the wild and players will have the chance to encounter Shiny Timburr. Shiny Timburr is a darker tan color than normal Timburr.
Timburr is a Fighting-type Pokemon from the fifth generation of the Pokemon universe. In Pokemon Go, you can evolve Timburr into Gurdurr using 50 Timburr Candy, and then evolve Gurdurr into Conkeldurr using 200 Timburr Candy. Gurdurr can also be evolved into Conkeldurr without using Pokemon Candy if the Pokemon has previously been traded.
Each time players evolve Gurdurr into Conkeldurr during this event or during the five hours immediately following it, Conkeldurr will learn the move Brutal Swing.
Six in-game bonuses will be active from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time on October 15, 2023:
Two additional bonuses will be active from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. local time on October 15, 2023:
Players will be able to complete event-themed Field Research tasks during this event to receive Great Balls, Ultra Balls, encounters with Timburr, and other rewards. Players will also be able to collect event-themed stickers by opening Gifts, spinning the Photo Disc at PokeStops, and purchasing them in the in-game store.
Players will have the option to spend $0.99 on a ticket that will give them access to a Special Research storyline during this event called “Muscle Memories.” Players will have the option to purchase this ticket for themselves, and they’ll also have the option to purchase this ticket for their in-game friends.
Finally, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. local time on October 15, 2023, Gurdurr will appear in Tier-4 Raids at Gyms. Each time players defeat Gurdurr in one of these Raids, Timburr will appear around the Gym that hosted the Raid for 30 minutes. You can learn more about these Tier-4 Raids on the Pokemon Go website.
